Dhule is a city in northwestern state Maharashtra of India. It is the administrative headquarters of DhuleDistrict. It is situated along banks of Panzara river.Dhule city was designed by Sir Vishveshwarraya. Population of Dhulecity as per 2001 census is nearly 333,980.Dhule city is famous for its quality education institutes. Recently new sports stadium is constructed in Dhule city.People in Dhule city goes to Worship at Ekvira mandir, Swaminarayan mandir, Gurudwara, Church and Masjids.The nearest international airport is Mumbai and Pune.Dhule has its own domestic airport at Gondur. Three major highways passes through Dhule city.Rail link between Dhule and Chalisgaon junction connects Dhuleto Central Railway of India. Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation's (MIDC) Industries are situated at outskirts ofDhule city.

Dhule district is bounded on the west by Gujarat State, on the north by Madhya Pradesh, and on the east and south by Jalgaon and Nasik district of Maharashtra respectively. Educational institutes are affiliated to North Maharashtra University Jalgaon, Maharashtra.
